    Religious and ethnic crisis has constantly occurred in Plateau State, this is mostly due to the following reasons, large concentration of Muslims and Christians in the State, Plateau state also serves as a bridge between Muslim North and Christian South, it is also famous for it's job opportunities and significantly it's geographical location ensures the state is always chilled and cold compared to other states in the north making it the perfect state to live for most people.    The institutionalisation of Sharia Law by twelve states in Nigeria led to various riots in the country most notably in Kaduna state where over 2000 people where killed. The 2002 Miss World Riots was one of the repercussions of the Kaduna Riots. Because the 2001 pageant was won by Agbani Darego, the 2002 Miss World was chosen to take place in Nigerian capital Abuja, during the time before the pageant there were many controversies like the fact that it coincided with Muslim holy month Ramadan and the beauty contest was perceived by many Muslims and Christians to be unchaste.   In 1999 twelve Muslim-major states voted to have Sharia law as the main body of civil and criminal law, Zamfara State governor Ahmad Sani Yerima began the push for the introduction of Sharia at the state level, the petition was accepted by the Federal Government and a "declaration of full sharia" was made in the following states, Zamfara, Kano, Sokoto, Kastina, Bauchi, Borno, Jigawa, Kebbi, Yobe, Kaduna, Niger, Gombe. The process went through smoothly in majority of the states except in Kaduna State where the Muslim Ummah didn't exactly have an overwhelming majority. Bauchi Gorvernor Says Senator Persecuted For Speaking The Truth About Unspecified #3.7trn In 2024 Budget

                  Senator Abdul Ningi   The Senator representing Bauchi Central and former Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum, Abdul Ningi, has stated that #3.7trn in the 2024 Budget has not been accounted for. Ningi in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (Hausa Service) on saturday states that the budget passed by the National Assembly for the 2024 fiscal year is #25trn while the one being implemented by the President is #28trn.    Ningi in the interview was quoted saying "for the first time in Nigerian history, today we are operating two different budgets, the one approved by us is #25trn while the one operated by the Federal Government is #28trn. Apparently we discovered #3.7trn was inserted into the budget for projects without locations.
